Rooms is an ongoing investigation in the imagery of childhood memories. They are small sketches of time spent in our childhood homes or bedrooms. Mostly alone, sometimes with siblings or with friends. The impressions are not too sharp in detail, but rather echoes of a remembered atmosphere in colour and light. Emotions inspire and instruct the power of recall. Scale, perspective and reality are all warped by time. For the current generation of adolescents these images of introverted isolation must seem quaint indeed.
